My name is Donna Hargrove.  I have lived in Athens for most of my life.  I have been married to my husband, Randy, for almost 30 years. We have two children. Our son, Chase, is 27 years old. He is an IT Technician. Our daughter, Anna, is 17 years old.  She is in the 11th grade at Athens Bible School.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening, and pursuing graduate and doctoral programs of study. I have been pursuing advanced degrees for the past 8 years. I have earned my Master's degree, my EdS degree, and I am currently working on my dissertation to complete my Educational Doctorate in Teacher Leadership. Learning is my passion and I am a life-long learner!

We are facing exciting times in education as we focus our attention on providing quality education that is rigorous and relevant to our students, that prepares our students to be college- and career-ready, and that meets the diverse needs of our students to prepare them to be globally competitive. I do what I love most - building lasting teacher-student relationships so that I can help young people prepare for their future by having a deeper understanding of mathematics.
