 ATHENS HIGH SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT:

 GENERAL INFORMATION:

•  Bell schedules for the week of May 24-28 - 7, 2010 are:

Monday, May 24- Regular "A" Schedule - EXAMS

Tuesday, May 25 - Regular "A" Schedule - EXAMS (Last day for students.)

Wednesday, May 26 - Teacher Workday

Thursday, May 27 - No School/Graduation 7:00 p.m. Golden Eagle Stadium

Friday, May 28 -  No School

• Congratulations to Sara Bryant! Sara's design was selected for the Art on the Square 2010 Arts Festival t-shirt.
• SENIORS:  Turn in a Final Transcript Request Form to the Guidance Office before graduation.  Forms may be placed in the tray indicated in the Guidance Department hallway.  Extra forms are available in the Guidance Office.
• EXAM SCHEDULE:

                        Monday, May 24:  1^st & 2^nd Block Class

                                                         3^rd & 4^th Block Exam

                        Tuesday, May 25:  1^st & 2^nd Block Exam

                                                        3^rd & 4^th Block Class

• Students may pick up report card on Friday, May 28^th from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria.
• AHS Driver Education Course will be offered June 1-26, 2010.  Registration will be Friday, May 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon in the cafeteria.  Cost: $280.  Applications are available on the counter in the main office.
• AHS Credit Recovery Program will be offered from June 7 - July 1.  Credit Recovery is an opportunity for students to recover credit in core classes.  Applications are available on the counter in the main office. See Mrs. Russell for more information.
• The Alabama Lions Club High School Leadership Forum deadline has been extended to May 25.  If you are interested in this summer leadership workshop, please pick up an information sheet in the Guidance Dept.
• Graduation - Thursday, May 27^th at 7:00 p.m. at Golden Eagle Stadium.
